Blogger's Quilt Festival!

So I had all these good intentions of taking new pictures of my festival quilt, but I just hosted a 1 year old's birthday party. New pictures are not happening :)

This is Zoey's string quilt. I had just started this quilt during the last festival, so I didn't get to feature it then, but I get to now!

The patch of blue and green on the back was ALL of the cut scraps of blue and green from the front!

This quilt lives out in our living room, and gets used for pretty much everything now.

I free motion quilted loopys all over. Still an early attempt at my free motioning, and I improved a lot on this one.

And here it is in use by the owner :) (This isn't a current picture, this was Thanksgiving!)

Thanks for stopping by, and have fun checking out all the amazing quilts in this year's festival!

Beautiful quilt. Great colors, great prints. Really cheerful, just the type of quilt you want to snuggle up!

That is a beautiful string quilt - I love the mix of colours. But did you not read the rules - I don't think you're allowed to include photos of cute babies because it gives you an unfair advantage! And I love that the blog is shared, that is so cool.

I love your scrappy quilt! And your little one is adorable :o)

I am a novice quilter...and would love to know what type of sewing machine you use. I would love to try to do free motion quilting...(that is, when I finally have a completed quilt top!)

Blessings & Aloha!
